GIFTNET:Teaching tools, schoolwide and professional development processes that support and demonstrate positive outcomes for gifted students.

GiftNet is a Talent Development Initiative co-funded by the Gifted Kids Programme and the Ministry of Education which is, over a period of four years (2006-2009), aiming to improve school and classroom opportunities and outcomes for gifted students in their areas of talent. As part of the project in-school support is being provided for a selection of primary and intermediate schools. The processes and teaching tools used to bring about school and classroom change will be shared, as will examples of projects, programmes and outcomes for gifted students. Whether you are interested in the development of school-wide processes or in classroom teaching strategies, there will be something in here for you to take away and use in your own school development or classroom practice.
