LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS FOR GIFTED STUDENTS

Are we really looking at the research about gifted children when we design our programs? Gagne, Maker, Braggett amongst others identify the importance of the environment or environmental catalysts in the development of innate giftedness into talent. This workshop will look at the learning environment and learning preferences of gifted students including gifted underachievers and twice exceptional students and consider the implications of these on instruction and program design.
