SHARING THE TALENT

Don't know where to go for help? Tired of re-inventing the wheel? Want to find something that was written for NZ kids, in NZ, by New Zealanders?

The Gifted Kids Programme (GKP) has developed a curriculum, TALENT, specifically designed for gifted students. The Curriculum has four cornerstones, affective development, thinking skills, talent development and conceptual learning. Previously only available in designated GKP Units, the organisation has successfully piloted a model designed to provide access to the TALENT curriculum in a format that sees clusters of schools establishing their own Centre and utilising GKP expertise to mentor, inform and support. This workshop will explore the TALENT curriculum in depth and detail the process for clusters of schools to establish a Centre in their own community.
