INTELLIGENCE HAVING FUN: Lighting the Fires of Imagination

All to often, we lose our gifted students at the first post when we introduce them to a new topic or unit. This workshop aims to answer the question - How can we engage gifted students in the learning process so that their fires of curiosity and imagination are lit? The creative strategies used in this workshop have been used effectively with a range of gifted students. Creative teachers enjoy the opportunity to exercise their own imaginations. will take our imaginations on a journey through other people’s ‘baggage’ and explore how creative activities can be used to spark and link cross-curricular learning.
